Coup makers “invite” news editor to “talk”

 
The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has reportedly “invited” news editors of 18 local newspapers, including the biggest circulation paper Thairath, to a “talk” on Sunday  at 2pm at the Thai Army Club on Vibhavadee Rangsit Road. 
 
The list contains all the major papers. All of them publish in the Thai language except the Bangkok Post. 
 
The Nation, an English language newspaper, is not on the list, but on Saturday, The Nation’s reporter Pravit Rojanaphruk, a vocal critic of the lèse majesté laws, was summoned to meet the coup makers. (Read more
