<p>The Thai police have announced that they have not yet proceeded to investigate allegations of graft in the construction of the military’s royal theme park, saying that no one has so far filed a case.</p>
<p>On Wednesday, 11 November 2015, Pol Maj Gen Piyapan Pingmuang, Deputy Spokesperson of the Royal Thai Police, told the media that the police have not yet summoned Gen Udomdej Sitabutr, the current Deputy Defence Minister and former Army Commander-in-chief, for interrogation on corruption in the construction of Rajabhakti Park.</p>
<p>The Thai army commander says that the arrest of 14 embattled anti-junta student activists was unavoidable to prevent further conflicts and warned that people involved with the student activists will face tough measures.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="http://www.tnamcot.com/content/218683">Thai News Agency</a>, Gen Udomdech Sitabutr, Commander of the Thai Army and Deputy Defence Minister, said on Saturday that the arrest of 14 anti-junta student activists was necessary to prevent further conflicts in the nation.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Criminal Court will rule whether to accept a lese majeste case file against Thaksin Shinawatra, a controversial ex-Prime Minister, in September.</p>
<p>According to <a href="http://www.matichon.co.th/news_detail.php?newsid=1432888750">Matichon Online</a>, Bangkok’s Ratchada Criminal Court will decide whether to accept the case file under Article 112 of the Criminal Code, aka. lese majeste law, against Thaksin Shinnawatra, an ex-PM who was ousted out of office by the 2006 coup d’état, on 7 September 2015.</p>
<p>Controversial ex-Prime Minister Pol Lt Col Thaksin Shinawatra is to be charged with defaming the monarchy and stripped of his police rank.</p>
