After more than two decades of struggle against quarry mining in Dongmafai sub District, Suwannakhuha District ,NongBuaLamphu Province, the community women and men human rights defenders impacted by the mining will organize a blockade in an attempt to stop the mining operations.

On 23-24 July 2020, representatives from the United Nations’ Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) Regional Office for South East Asia visited community-based women and men human rights defenders from Khon Rak Kroksomboon Group and Khon Rak Ban Nong Talad Group in Prachinburi Province, eastern Thailand.

Andy Hall is a human rights defender working to defend migrant workers' rights in Thailand.
