<p>Kamolkade Akkahad was 25 when she was shot dead inside Pathumwanaram Temple on 19 May. &nbsp;She was called Kade by her friends, but was Moo (pig) to her family members, as she ate a lot and was plump, according to her mother.</p>
<p>www.prachatai1.info has been blocked by the CRES since about 11 am today. www.prachatai.com, the original, was among the first batch of 36 websites ordered blocked by the CRES on 8 April. &nbsp;Its domain name was changed to www.prachatai.net until it was blocked on 5 May. &nbsp;Prachatai then changed its domain name to www.prachatai1.com which was immediately blocked on the same day. &nbsp;<a href="http://www.prachatai.info">www.prachatai.info</a> could continue until 20 May, and had to change to www.prachatai1.info until today. &nbsp;As of now (4.31 pm, 26 May), Prachatai can be accessed at www.prachatai2.info.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The latest number of websites closed or blocked by the CRES is 1,150, increasing from 770 as of last week. &nbsp;A source at the CRES, however, said that some websites had been inaccessible due to traffic overload, not ordered closed by the CRES, and blamed ISPs for redirecting to the CRES page. &nbsp;</p>

<p>At around 20.20 pm., a source from inside Patumwanaram temple reported that there were more than 1,000 protesters inside the temple. After the shooting and bombing ended at around 19.00, the temple returned to&nbsp;calm. The monks prepared rice porridge for the protesters but there was not enough food and water. The area was affected by thick smoke from the fire at Central World. Mobile phone signals&nbsp;were&nbsp;cut off&nbsp;from time to time.</p>
<p>Several groups of people demonstrated in front of the UN office in Bangkok. The UN regional human rights representative said the UN Security Council will hold an urgent meeting on Thailand this evening. The Representative requested the public to submit evidence of human rights violations.</p>
<p>Before he and other UDD leaders went to the police, Jatuporn Phromphan told the protesters at Rajprasong about the decision to turn themselves in at the nearby National Police Office in order to prevent further loss of life. &nbsp;Some protesters screamed at the announcement.</p>

<p>In this video clip, Prachatai interviewed a rescue volunteer affiliated with the Ruam Katanyu Foundation on the night of May 16, in the Saphan Lueng area near the Peau Thai Party. A stage was set up in the area after a few hundred protestors came to gather there. A number of volunteers with the RaumKatanyu Foundation were also there with their rescue cars parked in secluded spots in the area. At least two rescue workers like themselves have been shot dead, and the Foundation has ordered its staff to terminate all rescue activities for the sake of their own safety.</p>
