<p>On 2 November 2020, the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists, the Coalition for Women In Journalism issued a statement calling for justice for&nbsp;murdered, threatened, attacked, and harassed women journalists and for an end to impunity in crimes against them.&nbsp;</p>

Marking 30 years of exceptional courage in reporting, this year&rsquo;s winners include&nbsp;Jessikka Aro&nbsp;of Finland&rsquo;s&nbsp;Yle; imprisoned Egyptian multimedia journalist&nbsp;Solafa Magdy;&nbsp;Yakeen Bido, a freelance broadcast journalist in Syria; and, Uighur journalist of&nbsp;Radio Free Asia,&nbsp;Gulchehra Hoja.</p>

<p>10 women journalists shared their experience of working as an investigative journalists and strategies they used in their professional work, from mental health strategies to balancing work and family, and investigating state-sponsored killings, at the 2019 Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Hamburg, Germany, on the conference&rsquo;s only two all-women panels.</p>
