The police on Tuesday evening arrested political activist Chainarin Kularb-am, after he protested against the coup on Sunday at Siam Paragon, Siam Square.

On Sunday, June 1, Chainarin and four others protested against the coup d’état by holding five A4 sheets that read “Coup makers fear A4 paper, A4 paper is coming to you now,” and reading a poem criticizing the coup.

He has been detained at the office of the Crime Suppression Division.

Chainarin is a pro-democracy activist. He also protested against the 2006 coup d’état.
