The Crime Suppression Division has issued arrest warrants for labour unionist Jittra Cotchadet and nine others, most affiliated with the red shirts, for not reporting as ordered by the military junta.

The ten are:

2 Thanadej Eakapiwat
3 Attachai Anantamek
4 Yodyiem Simanta
5 Noi Dangpao
6 Narongsak Plai-aram
7 Jittra Cotchadet
8 Pipat Pansuwan
9 Siripob Pansuwan
10 Wanchalerm Satsaksit

They face a maximum jail term of two years and/or a fine of 20,000 baht. The charges have a statute of limitation of 10 years.

Now in Sweden, Jittra told Prachatai that she did not intent to flee nor to defy the junta’s order. She has submitted a letter to the Royal Thai Embassy in Sweden, explaining that she will report herself to the junta when she returns back to Thailand. She will submit another letter to Army Chief Prayuth Chan-ocha, insisting her intention to report, she added.
