Lawyer Nuttaporn Toprayoon filed a complaint with the Constitutional Court on 18 June 2019, accusing the Future Forward Party of attempting to overthrow the "democratic regime with the king as the head of state" according to Section 49 in the 2017 Constitution, which the Court then accepted on 22 July.
Among the reasons Nuttaporn is using to support his accusation, other than his claims that FFP's members are anti-monarchy and anti-religion, is that they are part of the Illuminati.
