We're seeking a passionate and driven Sales Executive & Community Associate to join our growing team and contribute to our impactful mission.
About the Role
This unique role blends dynamic sales initiatives with engaging community engagement. You'll leverage your sales expertise to expand our network of partnerships with universities, companies, and organizations who share our values and commitment to improving welfare and well-being. You'll also cultivate a thriving community around The Opener's mission, connecting individuals and amplifying their voices.
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and connect with universities, companies, and organizations aligned with our values and impact areas (quality of life, lifestyle, financial planning, etc.).
- Prospect and reach out to decision-makers in corporate social responsibility, HR departments, employee wellness programs, university career services, study abroad offices, and relevant academic departments.
- Craft compelling proposals and negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements, driving revenue and program participation.
- Secure commitments from partners to support The Opener's initiatives, such as sponsoring internship programs, events, or content creation.
- Exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to overall program growth and financial sustainability.
Community Engagement & Support:
- Welcome and onboard new partners, and community members, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.
- Coordinate engaging events and workshops that connect diverse stakeholders and spark meaningful dialogue on welfare and well-being issues.
- Manage and promote The Opener's online community platforms, fostering active engagement and discussion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and promote programs and initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
- Continuously analyze partnership and community engagement performance, making data-driven adjustments for optimization.
- Proactively communicate with partners, interns, and community members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Stay informed about The Opener's initiatives and effectively represent our mission in all interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or partnership management, preferably in education, non-profit, or B2B sectors.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience working with universities, companies, or diverse communities a plus.

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
